Like I don't know shit, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has taken some looks around, filtered out the noise, and figured out that UW is going to win it all and his choice is whether he misses out or lives the legend.

He has seen what’s out there, and had a sit down with Buffy where she had a real talk about real life and what this program and Pete are really about. Her son had an amazing time at UW and was set for success and even after a devastating injury where many schools would shove him down, he was buoyed up by the staff and drafted and is getting rave reviews in Falcons camp.
And Sav’ell has talent and potential that Jordan never had.
Now Sav’ell is looking at the talent in the Freshman and RS Freshman classes and looking at the talent being brought in this class which is his.
But most importantly he knows Sam Fucking Huard is on the way. JTT is on the way. Emeka is on the way. Simon is on the way.
Sav’ell is a good kid. He is a good student. He is a hard worker and busts his ass to get better. He has dealt with injuries, other teams and players getting into his head, fans that flip on him at the drop of a hat, and coaches who haven’t developed his talent.
If he comes to UW he will have the surrounding talent he needs to win a National Championship. And he will have the coaching to develop him into a top 5 pick.
We would be fucking lucky to have that kid come here.
Bump, because this kid is a fucking good kid and he's a great fucking player and we would be lucky to have him here. Fuck everyone who shit on him when he took us out for a bit because he had the wrong people in his ear telling him the wrong shit and praying on his weaknesses.
I listened to his interview with Softy so the rest of you don't have to.
About his decision to leave UW off his list and his interview with Huffman, followed by UW coming back in it:
"That's why I always wanted to give myself time to commit. That's why I wanted to wait, and I never wanted to just commit and have to be committed. Because teenagers, we're always changing our minds every day. We can't make up our minds on what to eat. That's why I always wanted to allow myself the chance to make mistakes, but not be too catastrophic.
I was able to eliminate UW, there were some things going on in my life and I felt like leaving the city would be best for me. Just so I can mature more and become a better person and a better player. But then you know, I matured over the last few months. Being around in the city more and being around Sam, I just know it's not an opportunity I'm just ready to cut away yet. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to end up, but I know it was pretty premature to just cut them off and be like 'nah I'm done'. Especially with so many advantages there would be to stay home, and all the opportunities I would get to stay home. I just had to be smart, just keep getting closer to myself, and find out what I need and what I want and what I want to achieve in this life. And UW definitely provides a lot of good opportunities. So I just needed to give myself a chance to at least keep the relationship open and see where it goes."
Biggest pros about playing for the Huskies:
"You have to ask me on a different day. Today it would be, #1 the business school. But tomorrow when it's game day and I am in my football mind, it would be how they develop players. Because they develop players like no other. I just saw someone on twitter the other day, it was like UW is top in the Pac or top in the country in developing players, and it's not even close. Obviously, that's a real big perk. But the business school is extremely crazy as well. They're developing entrepreneurs the same way Coach Pete and Coach K and Coach Malloe are developing defensive and offensive players. They're a well rounded school. Some schools are just real big on football but the academics might lack. Other schools are big on academics but the football might lack. But it's a pretty well rounded school, and I feel like I'm pretty well rounded person, so I feel like it would be a good match."
Keeping a 5-Star linebacker home in Seattle would be more appreciated, does that appeal:
"The biggest thing for me staying home would be getting 3 more years with my family. If I stay home I can get on the freeway and drive to my house in 20 minutes from UW. Being able to have 3 more years to impact my community would be big as well."
I fucking love this kid, and I hope to God we get him. He deserves the right to play for Seattle, play for UW, play for Coach Pete, be developed by Coach K, be developed by Socha, get his fucking UW degree, and win a goddamn national championship playing next to JTT and with Sam fucking Huard and Emeka Egbuka, and the rest of the elite kids coming in.
And we deserve to watch him destroy the college football world in Purple and Gold.
Doog the fuck on, and pray we are lucky enough to lose our voices screaming at his sacks for 3 years before he goes pro.
