He might be deficient, he might not. Offering a couple Vegas kids means nothing. Conroy's there to maintain their relationships with the Kevin Porters and other future Seattle kids they've already offered. It's not going to be news when Conroy tells them "you still have an offer'.

Cornoy was hired to a liaison to Seattle recruits and the current players on the team.
That has absolutely nothing to do with Hopkins offering a 2020 player from Las Vegas. There is no connection at all.
Considering Hopkins past at Syracuse, it makes sense that he was intrigued by Conroy. -

Of all staff additions, conroy is not only the least offensive/argumentative, it's actually the smartest hire(and cheapest) of the group. Dollar is a Seattle transplant who has done nothing other than add to the stench of Seattle U lore, and was an assistant in the "glory" days of romar. Nothing about him seeps seattle. One person has the ability and passion to sell seattle bball to local guys and that is conroy.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

If any of you really think that romar sell locals on UW you're fucking high. It's local kids like conroy, roy, brock, IT and even crawford. They may speak highly of romar(like everyone, cough), but really they rep the area and what it's like to play for your city(yes i know crawford didn't play here but reps that kids should play here). Conroy has that hustle. And I wish there were balls enough to lure roy to be assistant right below . Don't tell me that conroy can't compete with dollar coaching or in recruiting and roy has less upside than dollar across the board. -
