    The GQ article is FS. It's the Shakespearian "thou dost protest too much" idea that anything you dislike in others reveals the same self-hatred or fear of it within oneself. Sometimes it fits, sometimes not. The GQ article's author doesn't know the difference one look at her tells you why. The irony of her own overcompensation eludes her as well.
