Good point on Charlie. The albums i have that he played on were recorded in the 40s and sound shity. Wasn't till the later 50s that audiophile recordings started to become more readily available. There are some Grant Green and Kenny Burrell albums from the mid 60s that are as good of jazz guitar that you'll ever hear. I need to look into Wes Montgomery more.

Yes, I've got Grant Green's On Green Dolphin Street on my iPod. Good chit.

On a side note, one of my favorite songs recently is Ruby Braff's "Willow Weep for Me". I'm listening to it over and over while I write at night. Smooth, sweet and sorrowful all at once.
