Intriguing early Florida offers for 2018

Aside from IMG Academy's TJ Pledger (#3 RB overall) and Brian Hightower (#5 WR overall) both of whom hold offers from everyone in the country, Washington has extended offers to three other relatively unknown Florida athletes.

- DeAndre Fitz-Henley - ILB - Central Catholic High School, Clearwater. 6-0 220. Cal, UMass and Northern Arizona have also offered.

- Ginial Isma - CB - Stranahan HS, Fort Lauderdale. 6-3 175. UW only offer. Other schools of interest listed as Ohio & Rutgers.

- Uchenna Ezewike - DE - Stranahan HS, Fort Lauderdale. 6-3 215. UW only offer. Maryland only other school of interest.

Per scout UW has extended 33 offers to 2018 prospects. Washington is throwing a little 15% stake on some talent from the sunshine state. I know Bush Hamdan has some Florida ties. I believe in our talent evaluation and it says something that the staff has offered these under recruited guys so early. Caught my eye. The two kids from Fort Lauderdale especially stand out. Big upside with rare physical traits. They're clearly African as well. Only a matter of time before Stanford goes after them.

Could this be a new strategy? Begin offering a bunch of guys all over the country, so that schools that like to poach our recruits, have to spend a bunch of time evaluating guys all over the map that we only offered to fake out those schools? Thus diluting their time spent evaluating the guys we are really serious about?

Actually, this sounds like something Harbaugh would do, not Pete. Nevermind.
