Lane Kiffin happened to poach one of USC's best support staff members to FAU as the DL coach, which left an opening. You can fill in the rest....

    Most Everything you heard pretty much happened. The coaches found out late last week. They tried hard to reel him back in and you could see from his text it was a hard decision but the USC package obviously convinced him to sign with them instead of UW. Until he actually pulled the trigger the coaches thought they had a chance. I'm not one for moral victories or hats on the table but it is what it is.

    I'd rather not get to far into the nitty gritty. I'm sure more details will trickle out.
