Fultz comp

He's not as big, but I see a lot of Harden in his game. They both play with that tempo where they don't look like they are trying, but seem to still be better than everyone. Offensive games are pretty similar too.

He's not completely disinterested defensively as Harden either, so he has that going for him, which is nice.

That's sort of a myth. Harden is not the DPOTY but his metrics are better than Curry and other MVP candidates. And yes, I am Rockets superiority guy.

Reminds me more of Carmelo. Not as big and certainly doesn't hog the rock nearly as much though. He should.

Harden is capable of playing good defense. He takes plays off to a level that no one else does, though.

And I like Harden. I fondly remember how great it felt when he was going to be a Dawg.

Remember when everyone said WDWHA b/c we don't give scholarships to 1) players friends 2) coaches to secure players. We're a clean and upstanding program. We also used to win then.

Now we have done both 1 and 2 in the last 3 years. Ah, the memories.

I was inclined to just roll my eyes but not argue LoRo's stance on that for a while when his supporters used that logic to defend him ...

But once he started doing that, then it all became about results. This Romar is a good guy shit ended right there

BTW I'd much rather draft Ball if I was an NBA guy than Fultz ...

Fultz probably has a higher ceiling ... Ball will make those around him better ... question mark for Fultz by choosing to go to LoRo's dumpster fire

    What metrics would those be?

    2015-16 Defensive Box Plus Minus = Harden -0.4, Curry 0.1, Westbrook 2.4, Leonard 2.8, Durant 0.9, Lebron 2.3

    2015-16 Defensive RPM = Harden -0.98, Curry 0.86, Westbrook 0.60, Leonard 3.88, Durant 0.97, Lebron 3.3

He was worse on defense than literally every single top 5 player in MVP voting last year in both RPM and BPM.

Tough call. Both are great. If they switched teams, UCLA would still be really good and UW would still suck. Athleticism wins in the end, and Fultz is simply a better athlete.

Ball is a winner, but that can be overrated in the NBA. I don't think Fultz is a loser because he plays for UW. Scouts aren't going to give a shit that Fultz chose UW, but he must have no advisors at all. I don't know any player that would prefer to play in a nearly empty arena.

He's a gritty Wes Welker type.
