I answer your question with a question: why would an offensive coordinator who has Jake Browning at QB, Myles Gaskin and Lavon Coleman at RB, John Ross and Dante Pettis at WR, and some decent TEs think that running the wildcat with a 4th string true freshman WR who hasn't run the ball all season sounds like a good idea?

I think this is awesome, but it would be one helluva script for this to happen and then find out that Smiff was actually pretty damn good at his job.

Smith goes elsewhere and has the best running game in the country and recruits and develops great QB's.
