He's looked a little lost at times, but then you see Joyner make a play like that sideline pick against Oregon State and say, 'Holy Shit!'
I think there's a reason he's back there with Ross on kickoffs, too. The coaches believe the kid is a playmaker.
I think Coach K and Lake are grooming Joyner to take Baker's spot whenever Budda goes to the NFL.
Practicing and getting a few game reps at corner is going to nothing but help AJ sharpen his cover skills for when he moves to nickelback.

He only averages 12 plays before injury so we need to keep him fresh and use him sparingly.
