Watching Pitt play a "home" game at half-full Heinz Field ...

with the faded NFL hashmarks on the field and the empty yellow Steelers seats making up much of the background reminds me of how completely fucked we'd have been had Qwest/CenturyLink Field become the permanent home of the Dawgs as these dipshits (and many more) argued.

Keith Gilbertson and Tyrone Willingham represented the worst of times for Husky Football.

But moving to an NFL stadium absolutely would have been the end.

There'd be maybe 25,000 watching some retread coach struggle to get UW a spot in the New Mexico Bowl.

Eklund and Griswold would be pumping up a recruiting class full of prospects choosing between UW, WSU, Oregon State, Hawaii and Fresno State.

It would have been O-V-E-R — and not one person here at HH would've have given two shits about Husky Football.
