USA Today's annual CFB coaching salary database just dropped. It lists only three Pac-12 coaches among the nation's 25 highest paid:

#19 Shaw (Tree)
#24 Whittingham (UU)
#25 Petersen (UW)

They've also including some interesting buyout data this year. Helfrich, for instance, has an $11.6M buyout.

I heard that Helfrich has a unique clause in his contract where if he wins fewer than 5 games in two consecutive years his buyout is 0.

If this is indeed true, it would behoove Oregon to give Helfrich more time.

If not, they should still give him more time.
