Was I the only douchebag watching Westworld?
I'd give it a 6 as far as series premieres go. Will tune in again next week but it wasn't "Oh shit, this is the greatest show ever".
Needs more tits like Ray Donovan/True Detective to move it up a couple notches.

It's basically a wild west version of the movie Vice. I'm a little worried about it trying too hard to make people think. It seems to have almost a Lost element to it. Like it teases you with deep shit, then later you find out it's either meaningless or just stupid. The premise is great, as long as they don't go off course long. If they stick to fighting, shooting, and sex, the show will do just fine.

Thandie Newton has shown a propensity to get naked over her career. Same with Evan Rachel Woods. I don't need to see Ed Harris' or James Marsden's full frontal. Just finished the pilot episode. Pretty good IMHO. Definitely gonna keep watching. The sandbox simulation gone rogue has all kinds of potential for some never before seen crazy shit. The Man in Black searching for the meta game is enough to hook me.
Also, finished Luke Cage already, and the music alone makes it worth the watch.

The one part I did enjoy about Westworld was the background music - the kill scene with the Stones "Paint It Black" was awesome. It took me a few seconds to recognize the tune but then the Purple Throbber kicked in sans Viagra. Look forward to more of that.
