Posted in the wrong forum but whatever ... the first GIF got cut off at the start of the play but it basically is PSALM attacking the play aggressively (similar look to play #2 of the 1st drive).

In the "GIF #2" you see the effects of PSALM being a) over-aggressive in his attacking at the mesh point and b) why he misses so many tackles because he tackles too high. The other thing to note on this play is BBK taking a poor angle in shedding the block and losing the outside containment (in fact he almost gets into Bierria's way) ...

The impact of BBK's mistake in GIF #2 is shown in GIF #3 as Budda takes the outside angle on the coming RB block that forces Dawkins back inside and SHOULD put him in a position where the MLB should be in a position to tackle from behind/side in pursuit ... however, because BBK's mistake in shedding the block earlier he's a step late in getting to the tackle point allowing Dawkins to break free ... also as an aside, go back and look at play #2 of the 1st drive again and notice that PSALM at least made an attempted tackle on the RB ... if he does so this time and leaves Dawkins on his own the RB likely is a step or two late in getting to Budda) ...

In GIF #4 you see King losing outside containment that is compounded by JoJo McIntosh probably being a little too aggressive getting into the inside of the hole that is tied to the King block ... one other thing to notice here is that as Dawkins is going down the sideline go back through the GIFs and note the pursuit of Mathis on a play that is clear across the field from where he is ... if the play was going to the other side of the formation would you see comparable effort from PSALM???

Vita Vea is 6'4" probably 325 pounds...... look at how fast he is in the last gif. That is UNREAL. Dude is a freak of nature.

    Holy shit, hadn't noticed.

And most importantly to me is that he doesn't quit ... same as Mathis ... go look at teams with mediocre coaching and you'll see the same type of players give up on those plays.

For those that like to talk actual football this is for them ...

For those that like witty little jokes that they tell 81x per day, this thread isn't for them ...

For those that listened to last week's version of the TSIO Podcast, we specifically called out Lavon Coleman as being the NEXT GUY that we trust in case something happens to Gaskin. Then Arizona happened.

Maybe, just maybe, some actual football talk has some merit.

Amazing what 7-6 does to a players work ethic.
