Why is Trump denying that he said not paying taxes makes him smart in the debate?

We all saw him say it, and an hour later, he denies he said it? It is all over the interweb.

So which is it? Does he think it makes him smart? Or not?

    He totally doesn't pay any taxes. Should be a major scandal, but won't because the media doesn't ask the hard questions.

    So here's the hilarious thing. I was listening to Glenn Beck this morning (yes my first mistake). He is not a supporter of Trump but of course hates Hillary.

    So he did have a good point tho. He was saying that part of what makes Trump different is he is using things traditionally thought of as disqualifying traits to a politician, as positives. He paid zero taxes, that makes him a genius. Instead of bankruptcy being bad, it's a positive because he knows how to use the rules to his advantage.

    Well that was a thought until right after the debate he doesn't realize he agreed he didn't pay any taxes.

    The only evidence we have that Trump didn't pay taxes is Hillary's baseless speculation. Not unlike Reid's lie about Romney.

    Trumpy could end this controversy but it helps him IMO.

    How much has Trump spent of his own money on his campaign? He's a fucktard for not biting the bullet, paying a decent percentage in federal income tax while releasing his return, all just to pander to the populace if nothing else. It would have been the cheapest source of good-will of the entire election.

    I saw some talking head saying polling shows 8% of voters care about Hillary's health. The only thing they care less about is Trump's taxes - 6%

    Other sources say different about both. Who the fuck knows but the election won't be decided on either as long as her meds are dialed in the rest of the way
