In 2000, he was presented with the Eddie Robinson Coach of Distinction Award that is given annually to honor "an outstanding college football coach and role model for career achievement".[1]FremontTroll said:

If this is a whooshing, well played. If not, please commit seppuku asap.PostGameOrangeSlices said:. He wasn't horrible
Willingham began the 2002 season by going 8–0, and went on to become the only first-year coach in Notre Dame history to win 10 games. For his efforts he was named the ESPN/Home Depot College Coach of the Year,[3] the Scripps College Coach of the Year, the Black Coaches Association Male Coach of the Year, and the George Munger Award College Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club.[4]

If Dances with Fire has a 1st Team AC year, I'll gargle your balls in Red Square and give you ten minutes to draw a crowd.PurpleTickler said:
Hardcore Husky if Psalm Wooching has an All-Conference year. Not gonna happen, but I would love to see the hand-wringing on the board. -
I looked at the 2-deeps yesterday and saw Wooching listed as a starter. I didn't know whether I should laugh or cry.

There are way too many bullshit coach of the year awards but the Eddie Robinson isnt even a coach of the year award because its criteria is not simply who was the best coach that year. You win for being a role model and having comportment.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

There is also a separate coach of the year award named after Eddie Robinson. Ty did not win that. -
I miss WASHINGTON, dammit POTW!PostGameOrangeSlices said:Wooshing could be the next Tupou
I'm rooting for him so the board can be wrong. He wasn't horrible and had a decent pass rush -

The coach of the year awards are subjective bullshit that don't actually identify the best coach in a year. Frank Beamer has won the Munger Award twice while Saban had never won it:

Yes I agree but Ty still isn't a two time coach of the year. He is a one time coach of the year and one time role model of the year.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
