Meyer lost 50 pounds coaching Florida. We have NEVER had a coach that cared like that. It makes you realize how full of shit they all are. This guy lost his health and sanity over winning a championship. It hardly even matters that he didn't. He lost to Saban in the SEC championship.
It's doogish to talk about coach salaries, but most are content to make the millions and let the chips fall where they may. They all want to win, but there is a difference.
Now he's the new and improved Urban Meyer, but it's all bullshit. He's the same guy and won a championship with his third string QB. Even if you use the doog excuse that Cardale Jones is an NFL QB, it doesn't matter. He was able to do that because excuses weren't an option.
He could coach the Cougs, Cal, or the Beavs and they would win 10+ and compete for championships. -
SometimesYup. Let's not forget before OSU. Before UF. Before Utah. Bowling fucking Green was 2-9 and the worst team in all of D1 when he took over. Immediately goes 8-3. Then 9-2. Then goes undefeated the next year at Utah and wins a BCS game in a blowout lol
