Some of the things that I've heard people say that I've said is the definition of twisting ... even some of the screenshots that people have posted of my own words will get twisted by people saying that I said one thing when the words I said very clearly say otherwise ... and that's not even getting to the whole out of context thing.
I get that I'm a target for some people ... I get why you see people get sick and tired of the media and how they take a portion of a comment and spin it to their own narrative instead of allowing the entire comment to stand on its merits.

There's one thing to have stretch goals, but if you put your goals too far to the point that they are almost always unattainable, the goals are worthless to start.
Even at the level of programs competing for national championships, you are going to fail more often than you don't. The goal at that level is first getting yourself in position to win a national title and then the second goal is to win it. You'd probably consider the seasons that Clemson, Michigan St, and Oklahoma had last year as not being successful ... they didn't win the National Championship but they were still very successful seasons.
Even Race has said that he'd run DJ from the program many times over and that's as successful period of football as this program has had
I'm of the opinion some just like to bitch to bitch ...
The old standard was to be in a position to compete for the conference title and hit the Rose Bowl or other major bowl in the 2 out of every 5 range ... probably the current example of this is Michigan St
To me, that's very realistic to expect from this program ...
I also expect that there will be some to take the above and say that I don't have aspirations of national championships, etc
Slightly above .500 records propped up by wins over shit non-conference opponents. Boundless optimism. Yes, good times are just around the corner.

I'm not so sure. Their defense will be worse. Our offense will be better. They don't have a QB and they are god awful when they don't have a QB, so it will probably be worse.
