Those teams were something like 1-15 against real conferences last year and the only win was because Hawaii and Colorado played each other. Whats the point of having good teams if you only get to see them shit all over scrubs.

And does everyone forget PSU was the #1 team in the state of Oregon last year. Jeezus, seems like a few guys here need to take a walk on the beach with Race's wife and gain some fucking perspective.

When Michigan made their schedule Hawaii was a powerhouse coming off a BCS Bowl appearance and Colorado was entering their third year under the great program builder Boise St. coach Dan Hawkins. Looking back to the 90's as APAG noted when you had the privilege to play against the College of the Pacific in September it was truly something special. Some other great intersectional battles UW engaged in the 90's were Toledo and East Carolina. Shame these were never given a chance to become nationally branded rivalries
