This article is written as if HH posters really have the ability to fire Sark next week. The correct debate is who is right, LIFPO people or TSIFO people? We have to LIFPO to know.

Homebrew nailed it. Both are right because we're fucked. The season is over but we have to let it play it out. LIPO pretty much means don't fire Sark and TSIO means fire Sark. At this point there is no one with standards who thinks there is an option of non-improvement coupled with retaining Sark. We need to fire Sark, but not yet. If someone thinks LIPO means that Sark needs more time to be evaluated, then they are flat out wrong because Sark has shown that things are the same as ever.

The season is over doesn't mean fire Sark. It pre dates him. It came out of the series of exhibition seasons while we wait for a coach to get his own guys in or to not be young or all the other bullshit excuses for loser coaches. It culminated in 2013 being special back in 2011. Hi Kim! The present season never matters its always the year after next.

This season ended after the Apple Cup last year. There's nothing to play out. If we aren't winning the championship or expecting to we have the wrong coach. What is playing out? Nothing. The season is over. If you're waiting to see if we go 5-4 or 6-3 in league and think that's great because we played three cripples you might want to try www.dawgman.com

That is exactly my point. If the season is over we have the wrong coach and if we have the wrong coach we need to fire him. Ergo TSIO = Fire Sark. In previous years they would not be equivalent statements but in the context of this season if there is a difference I am just not seeing it.

The coach has needed to be fired since 2003. Sark won't get fired for 8 or 9 wins. The season is still over

This is getting back to the thing with Swaye - just because he won't be fired at some threshold doesn't mean he shouldn't be (and he should be because the season is over and at year 5 the season should never be over). This is all talking about what should be since our allowances don't carry enough clout to dictate what actually happens.
