Soporific made a bunch of really solid moves in the off season. Hedging the first base position with Dae Ho and Lind is fantastic considering their 1b position has been complete garbage since Olerud.
Getting rid of the "young" players like Brad Miller and LoMo who were absolute trash. Sending Zunino down to AAA for an extended time and picking up a solid veteran catcher in Ianetta. The Karns and Miley trade are looking like decent pick ups as well.
The team has like a +30 run differential already which is way better than any other bullshit I'm awhile. Year 1 of Dipoto so far has already plunger raped anything Jack Z did in his entire 6 years or whatever... Which isn't saying much but still. -
