Best of the worst: which UW team 2001-2015 was best?

Just an embarrassment of riches, talent, coaching, and accomplishments.
I'll say 2013. Veteran line and decent talent. 2001 would have a puncher's chance against them though. Our* best team still was blown out against every team of consequence. How that squad didn't win 10+ still amazes me. Praise be to HadenFS.

2008 is the only option.

We've discussed this before, but the most enjoyable year was 2008 and the biggest nut punch was '02.

I take 2001 over 2013 because they beat Oregon and nothing else matters.
Picket to Williams > Price to String. -

2007-2008: Turner retained the Molder of Men after UW lost the Apple Cup when WSU ran the same play twice in a row- the first was called back for an offensive penalty- and the Coog receiver beat two UW deep safeties

That's a capybara...Gladstone said: -
I'm one of the few here who couldn't root for @owen 12, but I still pick 2008 because it delivered us from Ty.
2014 gets honorable mention because it was the first time I could really dream of a good team again since Gilby forever buried the program. -
2008.
You have to hit rock bottom before you become great..... -
The ones I didn't watch.

2001.

If Ty won 5 games in 2008 he's probably still the coach here today.

Disagree. He was fired as soon as the team was mathematically eliminated from bowl contention.DerekJohnson said:If Ty won 5 games in 2008 he's probably still the coach here today.
Why he was allowed to coach out the season is a true crime to that team and the seniors in particular. -
Right but there was no way that team was rebounding to 5-7.Doogles said:

Had he won a couple earlier in the year and eeked his way to 5 I don't think he would have been fired. He had to fire himself. -

I hadn't paid much attention to UW football after the Rose Bowl...that was my first game since the RB. I was completely shocked at how bad the team/program had become.Doogles said:
