Watching a regular season NBA game during the tourney is fucking stupid.

Disagree. Spurs are undefeated at home playing the Warriors. That was high quality basketball too.
Christ -any basketball geek that doesn't have two TV's set up in March isn't a basketball fan.

    Should have watched both abundantly.

I went full boobs and had UFC fight night on the phone, March madness on the tablet, and warriors on the tv.

Aldridge is going to be a serious issue for golden state. They are going to need Bogut to wear him down in a 7 game series because Green/Barnes can't handle his size/skill combo.

For the first time in a long time Golden State's small lineup got its shit pushed in the way it logically should.

A repeat is not a slam dunk.

agree that a repeat isn't a slam dunk - spurs are certainly capable

i can't put a whole lot into golden state's small lineup getting beat up though. the effectiveness of that lineup with and without iguodala is night & day.

Warriors aren't a slam dunk, but it's close. Curry went 1-12 from three last night and the game went down to the wire. And Iguodola was out.

Well of course it's high quality basketball. They're both elite professional teams that have won titles recently. Even @GrandpaSankey can see that. The point is that this game doesn't mean dick in the grand scheme of things and there are a bunch of great games being played right now for a trophy.

Most these games are equivalent to a first round playoff game. Most the teams involved in the great games are already out.

College basketball and the NBA are the same. There's no reason to watch before the last two weeks of the regular season. Plus, what's up with putting ABC games on Saturday night? That's just weird.

warriors need to go 9-3 to guarantee home court...or if they take one of the remaining two games against the spurs (likely), they can go like 7-5

spurs have to play gsw twice, okc twice, miami, memphis, toronto, and dallas. Spurs will likely lose a handful of those while they rest players and try to build more chemisty with some of their bench players.
