Just a great win for a great football team. Dominant? Hardly. Can we dispell the SEC myth, the SEC defense myth? A 10-game series? 6-4 Clemson

    He's right, you know. I was on the SEC is having a down year bandwagon most of the season, but facts is facts. The SEC lapped the field. Not only do they have the natty and the most bowl wins but the most impressive collection of vanquished foes. No two conferences combined can match wins over Clemson, Michigan State (shutout), Oklahoma State (in dominant fashion) and Northwestern (in dominant fashion). Add in four other wins over power conference opponents, and you get an overall 8-1 record versus the power conferences.

    And no, they didn't face the Pac (that's almost assuredly more on our? cluster commissioning than theirs). But the Pac faced 6 power conference opponents and went 2-4 against them with really only one impressive win (Iowa) and a much worse loss than either of the SEC's losses (5-7 Nebraska...wtf???). I know no one brought the Pac up but surely some Poog is going to after I poonted out the SEC's overall 8-1 record against power conferences. This year, at least, the Pac is very, very lucky they didn't see the SEC in any bowel games.

    SEC dominance might have never been more true than it was this bowel season.
