I can't remember...why did he leave? Did he supposedly suck and was just run off?

Oh...he's now Montana's All Time Leading Receiver.

Sark needed new toys to play with.

Running a guy off after 16 months with the program and not giving them time to develop? IIRC, Jones was really skinny. Probably needed time to fill out. Not only is it pretty bush league, but after 4 quarters on campus Sark is not trusting his own evaluations that much? Just further proves he never had a plan for the roster. Most guys aren't/shouldn't be making an impact as a freshman.

For every Jamal Jones and Cooper Kupp there are a lot of prospects that dont pan out but damn, just having one of these dudes would have made a huge difference this season.

There is some stuff that happened with Jones behind the scenes we know about. It just wasn't going to work out, simple as that. I will say Sark gave him ample opportunities to stick around. Sark recruited Super Bowl legend Jermaine Kearse and Husky Legend Jay Don Mickens, so the people that say he couldn't evaluate don't know what they are talking about. Whatever fits their agenda ;)

    That is some good sarkasm.
