I effectively live in Katy and one of my buddies went to Katy High, used to run the largest high school football website in the state country world, and still follows high school football closely. I know that Bellevue impressed the folks down here and for example my buddy keeps an eye on Bellevue now. The WA state 3A and 4A champions would hold up against any other teams in the country.
Didn't Bothell and Eastside Catholic travel down to Florida last year and played the FLA champs? They faired decently for traveling 3000 miles. The WA teams would probably win in WA and who knows what would happen on a neutral field?
Top tier WA teams have always done pretty well against out of state teams. Skyline and other WA teams rape the Oregon "powerhouses" every other year to open the season. Bellevue had a respectable showing @ the 5A Texas champs Katy in 2010. Beat Trinity in Seattle a few year later.
Yeah they don't have as many 4 or 5 star players as Cal, Texas, or Florida. Oh well?
