In 14 years as an HC Leach is 59-55 in conference. And Texas Tech didn't suck any worse before he took it over than it did his first four years there so spare me the grading on a curve bullshit.

And even if you put him at a program with more built in advantages, he probably only ups that conference mark to 65-49. About a game a year better I would guess. A one game above .500 conference record, versus .500. Still small time.

I'm in the minority, but I've never looked at Leach as a horrible coach.
Nor can anyone with any sanity compare Sark to Peterman - not yet anyway.

Mike Leach's name was a source of ridicule and derision on here back in September. Now he's a front runner for Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
It only took him 5 years to find a running game.
What running game? mycoogs have 3 decent running backs but they don't get the ball nearly enough. That would be the next step to the offense getting better and truly putting Tecmo numbers on the board.
