I can easily see Petersen/Smith watching the Ducks shittastic secondary and thinking this is a good week to get Browning going. They come out throwing the ball early and often which leads to Browning getting sacked and throwing a couple picks. I'm scarred by stupid coaching.

What's the best way to hide a young and bad offense and give you team the best chance to win? Run the f'in football, shorten the game, move the chains and control time of possession.
How many times did we get 6/7/8 on first down running and then ended up punting because we wouldn't go 4 wide, spread them out, and give it to gaskin who I trust to pick and choose his way for 2 or 3 yards and get the first down, and another two minutes of clock.
We are too in love with trying to be proficient and able to use the whole play book instead of running 70% of it, but doing it exceptional. -

Most annoying part of the game was our first drive of the fourth quarter. Coming off Gaskin's 72-yard TD run, and the Duck missed FG, Smith calls 3 consecutive pass plays...
The worst of which was on 3rd and 3 calling a play-action 40-yard low percentage pass down the sideline.

Gaskin has been terrible though. He only averages like 50 yards a carry. Why would you run the ball with him when you can throw a sweet pass to Deontae Cooper?
