This is one of the most explosive offenses in the country. Their receivers are INSANE and we held hem to like 150 yards. Most of those rush yards came on a few drives.

The defense is not dominant but they are pretty good. They very well may get lit up In a game this year. Especially when our back up linebackers are in. Most of jones yards came after victor was out.

Doesn't mean they are not good. If they had an average offense they would probably do,even better.

I'm not talking about their receivers. I'm talking about our inability to wrap up and stop the run. Our run d is #ass if we aren't in an obvious run situation, and even then, not that great.

And what other LBs do we have besides Victor? Fenney? He shows flashes but is otherwise soft as hell. Who else? Time to hit the recruiting trail Pete. Our DL was much better today, though.

Agreed. Our depth still lacks. But a bs call put us in a spot to have that exposed.

We have two. But after that there is a drop off because sark recruited nothing behind them.

Tevis is going to be good and BBK I like.

Next year Eifler and Wellington come in and Rapp could be a LB too.

You are pressing really hard. Feeney has his ups and downs but is a good player. Bierra is above average so far this year. Littleton is solid. The defense has played good this year. Cal and usc are good offenses. We don't play Baylor or tcu this year so we are not going to see any offenses better for the most part.

What's your end game here. They are not the 84 or early 90's defense and anyone with half a brain knows it. Fuck off.

No end game. Just a different definition of "good" I guess. I think Cal had over 500 yards and I think USC could have if they would have stuck with the run. Anyways, they played good tonight, but I'm not convinced yet. Need to see us hold Oregon under 20.

Eifler and Wellington are two of the best LB commits we've ever had.

Fuck you purple. I actually thought the same thing (so yes I agree and fuck off). I don't know about 2 scores. But they were clearly beating us on the ground. A real coach would have kept beating us up on the ground.

We had great push on the pass rush and didn't over pursue so they didn't beat us on screens (like how they over pursued us on our trick play). But our rush defense was terrible.

Last week the defense held a Cal team (with a top 5 NFL draft pick at QB) to 30 points despite 5 turnovers and being on the field for 3/4 of the game.
This week they held an explosive offense (mostly) to 12 points on the road.
