Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
Being 30 years old means I didn't truly get to see the Husky's when they were a great team, a lot of you old fucks got to see the greatness. All I have is old tapes in non-HD that don't really show me jack shit. I know all the names of the UW greats and that is it.
I envy you old senile bastards that remember those great teams and know what it is like to watch truly great football or hell, just even being able to go to a game that actually fucking matters. FUCK. I have not been to one game in my life that has mattered, NOT ONE. The Oregon game in Sark's last year was the closest because we were given Gameday simply because Oregon was coming to UW and we happened to have wondered into a good record in a scrimmages up to that point.
I have so much invested in Peterman because he has represented the greatest hope I have had in my UW fandom life. Fix this shit you bastard. Hire great people around you on offense. His bullshit in recruiting is working now get it fixed on the field. Pull a Gary Patterson, sell your soul and hire a great OC. Beau Baldwin, offer him 900k a year tomorrow. NOW. DO IT. SERIOUSLY CALL HIM. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? FIRE PEASE ALSO.

Hardcore fans who can't even remember 2000 (not you Cokehead) amaze me. Props to you all.
great poster
Of course, we were so trashed by the early 2nd qtr, that we had to read the paper the next day to see how the game went.
But it was fun as hell to grab chicks that tried to walk by our row, and lift them up and body pass them up the student section -- groping them along the way.
I sobered up a bit when we beat the Sooners in the Orange bowl. I've been a bandwagon fan ever since. I had season tickets for a while from 99 to 2001, but now just buy single game tickets when the motivation strikes -- which isn't very often anymore. Best 2 games I saw in person were the 2000 home wins over Miami and the Oregon State night game.
So far, we've had at least 1 great year in each decade since the 80s (84, 91, 2000). From this pattern, I predict one of the years between 2016 and 2019 will be special.
hip hop concerts, popular BBQ joints like Franklin's in Austin (Texas), Star Wars movie premieres, and football games (high school football games that is... Friday Night Lights, yeah bitch).
