Over the past 14 years (since the Rose Bowl win) UW has finished in the top half of the conference only once.

We are the new Cal/Oregon St/WSU.

I didn't get excited at the end of the Boise game or yesterday because in my heart I knew wed blow it. Losers lose.

When you're never better than 5-4 in conference, you're not going to be very good in the conference.

You miss the point. There are a handful of years we were 5-4 or 4-4 and finished in the top half of the league based on record. However, based on SRS we were clearly worse than the record indicated and not in the top half of the league.

You miss the point. 5-4 sucks and it doesn't fucking matter what SRS thinks of you when you suck.
