A few takeaways from the SAC STATE game

Hard to tell much from a game against a team like that but...
-- What I love most about Browning is how he always keeps his eyes downfield. The OL is collapsing around him and sometimes there would be defenders grabbing onto his jersey -- but he didn't panic or look around at the pressure. Very impressive.
-- Gaskin. Vision. Hope. Future.
-- JoJo McIntosh speed on special teams. Holy fuck.
-- Buddah KO returns.
Anything else?

I was impressed. It seemed like a game ripe for a tie or close game going into the third because that's been the norm.
Gaskin looked good. It was inferior competition but it was encouraging.
Special teams is solid in all aspects. When the hell has that been the case? I think it was okay under Rick...maybe...
Don James considered it 1/3 of the game and not an afterthought. Guys like Sark and Ty delegated it to dumbass assistants while they drank or practiced golf swings. CP takes it seriously...

TACKLING has been excellent. I like this DC so far. I think from what I've seen, UW can beat Cal at home. This team will struggle to have a winning record in Pac play, but aside from the OC, I like the coaches work so far.
