I gotta say it is a good step in the right direction. Our best defensive performances came last year against teams that did not run the up tempo spread style offense, so it was nice to see them not give up big points.
Now I want to see what they do against the likes of Arizona, Oregon, ASU, etc.
On a side note, since Wilcox has been here, they have held their opponents to 15 pts or less in 50% of the games (7 times).
Put it perspective, Oregon has done it 4 times, and Stanford 6 times over the same period.
We just need to avoid those 50 pt cluster fucks vs. Oregon & Arizona.

One thing not mentioned is we finally played good defense against a no huddle offense. That had not previously been done under Wilcox.

They've adapted and improved, especially the linebackers and safeties. They're not biting, and they're tackling. If the line can really get its shit together, this could become a bonafide Husky defense.RoadDawg55 said:One thing not mentioned is we finally played good defense against a no huddle offense. BTW, it looks like Timu and maybe a few others might be paying more attention to the nutritional side of things. Great to see.

I saw his family at the game. He might be one of the smaller members
