Big Ten Takes Huge Step Back After Devastating Opening Weekend

The Pac-12 was even worse. The B1G's 7-6 record is slightly worse, but they only have one bad loss (Purdue) while the Pac-12 had three (UW, Colorado, WSU).

At least their national title contenders are still all intact. -

That was a terrible oversight on my part. -
The Big10 is not loaded top to bottom.

Unlike the Pac-12 South, it has one (and maybe even two) good teams.BallSacked said:The Big10 is not loaded top to bottom.

Penn State getting their ass handed to them by Temple ain't a bad loss?TierbsHsotBoobs said:The Pac-12 was even worse. The B1G's 7-6 record is slightly worse, but they only have one bad loss (Purdue) while the Pac-12 had three (UW, Colorado, WSU).

It most certainly is. Penn States offense looked identical to UWs. Didnt complete one pass over 15 yards.HuskyInAZ said:

Flagged myself for having so little of a life I watched some of that shitfest live. -
This thread is about the Big10, not your obsession with the Pac12.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

HTH -
I'd say giving up 10 sacks, 27 unanswered points, and losing to Temple by 3 scores is worse than what Purdue did against Marshall.TierbsHsotBoobs said:The Pac-12 was even worse. (Edit: Go to 0:51 to see a 2-man rush sack Hackenberg. That is the worst thing I've seen all weekend.)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIvl3ufhNIc
Also, Nebraska lost to BYU at home without Hill at QB. Pathetic. -
why do people think christian hackenburg is a "great" qb?
can someone hth that to me? tia. -
Pedo State might have a worse OL than Warshington.
-
He came in with a big TBS rep. 5Star, scout had him ranked #2 nationally behind only Max Browne and his huge forehead as a senior.rodmansrage said:why do people think christian hackenburg is a "great" qb?

I thought he showed first round potential playing as a true frosh. But his development went sideways last year under the light-skinned black Sark. And then game 1 he gets sacked 10 times. -
Regarding Penn State:
1) Hackenburg is a whiny little bitch loser ... he should probably be playing for Seven
2) I think it's fair to start questioning if James Franklin is really what people think he is. While Mason almost assuredly isn't the answer at Vandy, you do have to think that at least some of the current dumpster fire was left by Franklin.
3) I watched a decent chunk of the Penn St - Temple game this weekend. I was very impressed by what I saw from Temple. While you have to wonder what the hell Penn St was doing, I think you also have to give Temple some credit as well. They looked well coached and their execution was solid. Matt Ruhle probably will be a name on the list of some higher profile jobs in the next couple of years ... really impressed by not only how his team was coached, but by his comments after the game. -
Vandy is a no win job. A school with academic standards in the SEC - good luck.Tequilla said:Regarding Penn State:

Franklin is kind of like Sark, people freak out that he took Vandy to bowl games (like they did turning around Owen12), but if you look at who he actually beat it's not impressive at all. Loaded up on 4 FCS opponents beat shitty teams like Kentucky and made a bowl. BIg fucking deal.
Like Sark he's all hat no cattle.

Up voted for "all hat no cattle"

Flag me for forgetting that one.HuskyInAZ said:
