3 red zone appearances and only 10 points, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite us
-
Lack of RZ execution is killing the Huskies. Driving up and down the field on them yet only have 10 points? Price looks like 2011 version, all these heralded WR's appear to be the real deal.
Just frustrating back to back possessions how they ended. -
He's been a non factor in the game so far.dnc said:The worst two passing plays of the game have been the only two to KW.

To elaborate now we picked up those three. We had one more set of downs. Basically you need a ~71% success chance for that to be a good move (that is only considering FD and not if you actually score on the play). Football outsiders I am pretty sure says that happens.Mad_Son said:

But if we made it there it wasn't a guarantee we would get a TDMad_Son said:
I think that was the right call. It was not lining up properly that was the problem. You (the normal team) are going to make it more than half the time there so "> 3.5 points" > 3 points.dhdawg said:
I wasn't criticizing the play calling, it was going for it that ticked me offRoadDawg55 said:In Sark's defense, we ran 4 straight times. Other than the debacle at Notre Dame, I don't think that has ever happened before.
This is where you kick the FG -
KP is 12/16 for 163. He threw the pick, missed Two Wins deep, had one rollout right throw the ball away and had the incompletion on third down right there. Otherwise, he's been on point. Most importantly, he's hitting receivers in position for them to do something after the catch. I haven't been a big believer but I like what I see so far. No doubt that the OL deserves a lot of credit.

Like, it is undeniable - this team has improved. I am pleasantly surprised.

Great open field tackle right there.
-
Great tackle by Shamburger, he was outweighed by quite a bit right there too
-
great tackle by shaumburger

NICE! SWARM SWARM SWARM

Don't underestimate the Stadium effect. How much of this is really the team remains to be seen.Mad_Son said:Like, it is undeniable - this team has improved. I am pleasantly surprised.
That said, they look good significantly improved.

I just hope the level of Doog going on in this thread will be maintained for a few more hours.

I pretty much wrote off kevin smith, great to see him making an impact

I'd be happy to doog it up all season longCollegeDoog said:I just hope the level of Doog going on in this thread will be maintained for a few more hours.

Oh sure, we all know this was a high emotion game. Still.... there has been a lot of consistency I feel. The same players are making plays. I am going full doog and calling Parker and Predator for first team all Pac-12 this year.dnc said:

Long game still, and need to do it on the road. That said, team does look improved. Wilcox was a huge coup. The fundamentals on D, such as tackling and being in position have been huge. We never made the plays Fui and Sham made under Holt.

pretty soon BSU should start wearing down

I'm in on both of those.
I agree Price, the receivers and the OL look legitimately better.

Ross worth 5 wins? Staff! True?

Kasen appearance

Yeah, Shaq is Predator.dnc said:

And Dug, that puts us at 12 wins.... I'd accept that... -
we are using the Oregon card bullcrap? ugh
-
too many penalties
-
Kevin Smith looks like a bonafide Pac12 starting wide receiver
-
LOL Gus Johnson. Great line. Doogs will be irate though.

that was PI

2nd & 8 almost in field goal position and 2 incompletions. Run the damn ball!
-
The difference between our offense and a really potent offense is we throw too much. Our WRs are better than Oregon's* but we do not run the ball enough (and maybe not even quite well enough).
