Wow maybe Jack Lockner was better than I remember.
Nick Wood getting manhandled is epic but does any UW player do anything well in this clip other than Jack?
Jack smoothly evades all 4 down linemen that collapsed the pocket as if there were no OL on the field and then completes an 11-yard pass in the face of an oncoming LB that could have gone for a first down if Jordan Polk doesn't fall over out of shock that he caught the ball.
Imagine if we didn't have Locker for a season.
We probably would've gone 0-12 or something ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure that was UW's first offensive play of the day as well. LOL
First series- third down. Already backed up from two Chris Polk runs that went nowhere.
Which makes the falling reception three yards shy of a first down even worse. And the inability to stop a single DL's pass rush when OSU is dropping 7 on 3rd and 14.
It's almost like Petersen went into a rage after losing Elitise and when Strausser asked "who should we offer next?", he looked up from his turned over desk and yelled, "Who fucking cares? Offer that kid who visited with Wattenberg last week. I don't give a fuck"

Oh where, oh where have my Benjis gone Babs and Ty took them away from meee They've gone to Stanford so I've got to be good So I can see an elite o-line when I leeeaave this world

Jack sucked but the over/under is he was worth 5 wins to this fucking dreckfest
I heard some people suggest they may have offered him to keep twattenburg happy. But wouldn't a good prospect with a lot of offers be put off by that? I know I'm going to make friends and bang plenty of sloots in college anyway. But if they really want this guy, do I really want to be here? I thought I wanted to play major college football to get away from guys like this.

I doubt that is why Harris was offered, but why wouldn't Wattenberg want to play with his boy?
Thank God that OL class wasn’t Wattenberg and Eletise. You can give me Kyler Manu and a few others, but Pete and his staff have shown since Boise they know how to get under the radar (lol at that attempt on this board) players that are good. Nick Harris was a great pull and I would take him every single time.

I still think Locker is average, but I would have loved to have him over Browning the last few years.
Locker is one of those guys that would look all world in a highlight video, but for every great play, he missed three routine ones.
I've loved him basically as soon as he started playing. Dennis & Coker were right, a program on solid footing doesn't have a true freshmen starting at guard against Alabama. And he was definitely overmatched there. What I liked in Harris the whole time is that he's mean, aggressive, dare I say, ALPHA. Barely 18 years old and he's throwing down with a couple all-Americans.
It’s pretty cool that someone like Watty is the worst OL in our group of 5 starters. We’ve come along way from Sosebee or Andrew Kirkland starting half the season.
The OL battle will be interesting next spring.
My guess:
LT - Troy Fautanu LG - Luke Wattenberg C - Matteo Mele RG - Vic Curne RT - Jaxson Kirkland
Bainivalu and Murao 2 others who will be in the running I assume. Also maybe they keep Kirkland inside and keep Curne outside, but I think they’ll end up wanting Kirkland’s length. Mele would then move to LG for Murao to start at center come 2021.

Nick Harris was never concerned with the thoughts of individuals from a Husky Hobby Board.
@bananasnblondes in particular had some solid hawt takes in this thread.
Harris washed him out of the play and pancaked his ass.
