umm... Lindquist is a returning STARTER at QB and ranks in the Bleacher report as a top 10 QB in the Pac

Bleacher report is your source for news and perspective?

I like how Brian Clay (#40) was the starter ahead of Zeke Turner (#7) at the end of spring camp, too.

This ranking is for 2015 only so take your 2018 will be special dooging to the next thread.

My rating system is simple- I guesstimate the delta between each player and his/her backup or the player he/she is backing up. Then I sort into buckets because this is craptastically simplistic.

Category 1: Absolute studs with nobody behind them

    1. Buddah Baker
    2. Sidney Jones

Category 2: Potential (not necessarily high) to reach Category 1 and also backed up by dreck

    3. Travis Feeney
    4. JoJo Mathis
    5. Elijah Qualls
    6. Dante Pettis
    7. Ezekiel Turner

Category 3: Established as mediocre Pac-12 starters and, of course, backed up by dreck

    8. Jaydon Mickens
    9. Cory Littleton

Category 4: These guys are good but their position group is actually somewhat deep and also we never use them anyways

    10. Joshua Perkins
    11. Darrell Daniels

Category 5: Doogs are hyping these guys but we don't really know yet

    12. Will Dissly
    13. Najiel Hale
    14. Brayden Lenius
    15. Azeem Victor

Category 6: These guys are at least mediocre but don't stand out from their backups

    16. Dwayne Washington
    17. Lavon Coleman
    18. Kieshawn Bierria
    19. Dexter Charles
    20. Siosifa Tufunga
    21. Coleman Shelton
    22. Deontae Cooper

    Category 7: Special Special Teams

    23. Cameron Van Winkle
    24. Korey Durkee
    25. Ryan Masel
    26. Tristan Vizcaino

Category 8: No idea but magic 8 ball says outlook not so good

    27. Darren Gardenhire
    28. David Ajamu
    29. Jake Eldrenkamp
    30. Dane Crane

    Category 9: Capable backups

    31. Scott Lawyer
    32. Taniela Tupou

Category 9: Only the doogiest of doogs could ever think any of these guys will be difference makers in 2015:

    33. Jeff Lindquist
    34. Tony Rodriguez
    35. Shane Brostek
    36. Cory Fuavai
    37. Andrew Kirkland
    38. Brandon Beaver
    39. Trevor Walker
    40. Brian Clay
    41. Kevin King
    42. Marvin Hall
    43. Nik Little
    44. Connor O'Brien
    45. Sean Constantine
    46. Jarrett Finau
    47. Psalm Wooching
    48. Damion Turpin

    Category 10: Injured

    49. John Ross

Just think how much higher they would be if they had red-shirted last year.
