0% at winning out. Does that mean we have a greater chance at losing out?

We're expected to lose against Cal and Utah at home?

I really can't wrap my head around how the over/under for UW wins is 4. Really? Fucking 4?

TSIO, no QB, yadda yadda yadda...If we can't get to a shit bowl this year i'll be pissed. Take Utah St. they are a mid major team that has made some noise the past few years, but similar to Ty beating Boise that's a game Pete needs to win. The only way I see us hitting 4 wins is by dropping games like that.

Do we really believe a Petersen coached team is going to drop 7 straight like the metrics predict? I just can't see it. I know we're a year away, but the nucleus of a 4 win team doesn't just win the fucking Pac the following year.

We have a better head coach than 90% of our schedule

And more talent than 65% of our schedule

but we are going to suck and win 4 games, yep.

We better win more than 4, but I'm not sure about the coach and talent part. You gotta prove it, not rest on past laurels and recruiting rankings. That's AuburnDawg go to analysis.

    The over/under is not "4".

These people have obviously never heard of BBK!!!!

Seriously though... this will never happen. We win 6 at a minimum. I don't understand any logic to the contrary: Sac St, Utah State, Utah, Cal, WSU, Oregon St (though Andersen is a fucking good coach) or Arizona. The rest, who the fuck knows, but we are not losing 7 games. No fucking way.

If we do we should seriously just stop playing football.

These 7 plus Boise State. Winning 6 of those 8 isn't too much to ask even with this shitty roster.

I don't think the roster is so much shitty as it's awkward. With Sark's amazing 2012 recruiting class, we basically skipped a year in the program where we would have RS-Jrs and Srs playing for us. So, we have a lot of holes that will be occupied by people who I'm sure will be really good at some point, but are too inexperienced to be great.

QB: I have no fucking idea.
RB: There's talent there, it just needs to develop.
WR: Lots of young talent in my opinion.
TE: Very talented, needs a lot more experience.
OL: Absolute horse shit in the upper classes.
DL: Lots of talent, just needs to improve. The only reason people haven't played is we had good players (as its supposed to be).
    LB: Middling talent, but enough.
    DB: Good bunch of talent.

I doubt we lose 7. I will say this, though... we are a lot closer to breaking through to 9 wins than we are to falling through to 9 losses. If Feeney, Mathis and Qualls all develop like our guys did last year, If Baker and Jones continue to improve, we could have a really good defense again.

If Pettis and Lenius develop in a serious way, they could both be outstanding.

It's a lot of ifs... my pessimism for this team is really only centered around Babushka. If we had an OC I believed in, I would think 9 wins was inevitable.

I don't think the talent is that bad either. It's somewhere in the middle of the conference, with maybe the worst starting QB (hopefully not) in the conference and Babushka/Pete. Pete hasn't had a really good offense since Kellen Moore left. We saw the 38-6 plungering and Boise actually had some pretty good talent on that offense, including a couple NFL players.

Kikaha and Shelton are huge losses, no matter how high you are on Mathis, Qualls, etc. I think it could be another year until the DL is good, although the young talent is exciting. I'm not really worried about the defense long term, but I'm not ready to say they will be good yet either.

If Peterman is half the coach Kim is sure he isn't, he'll win at least 2 games he isn't supposed to.
