He is not only unapologetic in victory, but downright brazen. He went for two points with a 27-point lead against USC at the L.A. Coliseum two years ago. Last year, after his Stanford team shut out Washington 41-0 at Husky Stadium, Harbaugh spoke to his team outside the locker room, only a curtain separating him from reporters. No one had to strain to hear him congratulate the Cardinal on a dominating performance, and he referenced the pay scale of coaches like Pete Carroll, Steve Sarkisian and Holt, as well as Stanford’s record against that USC coaching tree.
