Gallup: Hillary negative rating approaching unelectable.

d2dd2d Member Posts: 3,109
Hillary Clinton's favorable rating from the American people has been steady -- near 50% -- all spring, but her unfavorable rating has inched higher and is now 46%, up from 39% in March. At the same time, the percentage of Americans with no impression of the former first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of state has gone down.

A tell all book is released about how a govt salaried employee amassed $2 Billion and her negative is only 46%... Which last time I checked, was below 50. Of course, this doesn't take into account those that will vote for her anyway... like hondo for instance.

Most people are completely unaware of the book. People in their 30's or younger don't know anything about all the scandals from the 90's. The question is whether or not the DOJ will investigate all the alleged criminal acts raised by the book. Obama hates the Clintons. Hillary is NOT safe.

Over 50% negative and she's unelectable.

Didn't her former husband get elected with 43% of the vote?

Amazingly enough, yes. Perot got 19%.

Didn't her former husband get elected with 43% of the vote?

This is the FS post of the day IMO ...

Perot's influence cannibalized enough of the Republican vote to torpedo the elder Bush ...

Citing 43% of the vote without citing the presence of a 3rd candidate makes the entire statement incomplete.

All that that chart tells me is that Hillary is probably the most polarizing political figure in the last 40 years (minimum) and that she's getting dangerously close to rocking enough of the vote that she's not viewed as a slam dunk by her own party.

Just a guess but I think you missed the sarcasm in sarktastic's post.

I wasn't focusing on the "her former husband" part ... only on the 43% part ...

And yes, there's plenty of dripping sarkasm in there

Some of us lived thru that era, remember it well and don't need to read hondo's wikilinks.

Some of us also realize an Obama Billionare is backing both of the most likely gop candidates to branch off into a third party to pave the way to once again get a Clinton elected with 43% of the vote.

Hillary's problem doesnt revolve around her incompetence or lies. Look at the last two rock stars this country has voted in. Hillary's problem is just that most people don't like her. Most men don't respect her and a lot of women find her fake and insincere. She doesn't provide anything of substance. Bush was about lowering taxes, and Obama was about "hope". Hillary gives the misinformed nothing to cling to, that will be her downfall.

You'd have to be a hillbilly from Arkansas to BRB, JO to that at any point in her life.
