I saw the desperation marketing trailers and knew it was going to be shit and never gave it a minute of my time. It's strangely risen in ratings every week which doesn't happen in TV.
I think Terrence Howard's involvement is off putting to me. Just because Hustle & Flow was legit, doesn't mean you attach yourself to a network hip-hop show. You can just hear his agents pitch and it feels too gimmicky for me to put effort towards it. -
