The last comment about walking into Boise and being prepared for what they are getting themselves into is a telling comment and is one of the biggest differences between Seven and Petersen to me.
Seven's a front runner. Punch him in the mouth and he doesn't know how to respond. He's not prepared to get down, dirty, and go crazy.
Petersen embraces the difficult. Going into Boise is going to be insane - they are going to be looking for blood. They will be hyped beyond belief. The UW players will either get up for the game and look to shut them up (which is a sign of what great players and teams look forward to doing when on the road) or they will cave in because things are too difficult.
Petersen is a monster. Listening to how he speaks makes me start doogin it up again in spite of last seasons head scratching moments.
I truly believe he has a plan on exactly how he is going to turn Washington into a power. He's not standing on top of a bar bullshitting like a broski without a clue.
shouldn't be everybody else's business a lot of times about that. When you're trying to help kids grow and do things right for the program and then it's out there in the middle of the paper and for everybody to see
At least it's not discussed in the middle of the store.
