He didn't look right in a number of ways at various times this season ... not much surprising here.

Might explain why he didn't play much WR late

He got caught from behind in the ASU game and I thought he looked a little slow on his TD return in the bowl game.

Jane Jude says JR3 back in time for spring.
John Ross III, the Huskies’ triple-threat sophomore standout, had surgery this week to repair two meniscus tears in his right knee, an injury initially suffered in September.

Ross tweeted Thursday that the surgery “went well.” He is expected to recovery in time to participate in spring practices, a source told The Seattle Times.

He injured his knee in the Huskies’ victory over Illinois on Sept. 13 and sat out the next week’s game against Georgia State. He did not miss any other games after that and showed few signs of the injury, though UW coach Chris Petersen did acknowledge in November that Ross had been “banged up.

looks like a lot of you guys already knew he was hurt but didn't want to say anything

You know the deal. Coach Pete won't allow us to comment on injuries. If he catches us, no warning, just gone.

Ross is a guy to get excited about if he buys in and works hard. He could get national attention if he plays good at CB, makes some big plays on offense, and continues to be one of the best returners in the country. Maybe not too much attention because the team will be around .500, but still.

I still think the coaches fucked up with him on offense. Using him solely (or at least 90% of the time) as an outside WR was pretty stupid.

I agree. Ross would already be a national name if Oregon got their hands on him. Could you imagine him playing the tazer role like DeAnthony Thomas and now Byron Marshall?

Ross would be so fucking dangerous on Oregon. He massively fucked up coming to UW instead of Oregon.

Why did he wait so long to have the surgery? Didn't he realize the season was fucking over after the preseason scrimmages? Couldn't he have gotten a medical RS?

So is he worth 4 wins now that he has 2 good knees?
