Watching the first half of his Hudl, big receiver. He doesn't look terribly fast, but then in open field he's pulling away from everyone. Most of the the time double covered.
With Castile possibly coming here along woth Renfro, Chico, and Baccelia I'm not sure we need another wr. That's getting into Neuheisal territory
I remember calling into kjr (when I used to do that shit) after neuheisel's class that included 7 WRs and 1 OL. My frustration had boiled over because the doogman guys were lauding the class for its "speed."
Sure, a class of all WRs will certainly be the fastest class in the country. Well done.

If you're going to knock Bobby Whithorne and Chuck Smith, I'm out.
You can teach a guy to get faster ... you can't teach him how to be taller.
He's got a great catch radius and what is impressive is that he appears to be as adept at going up for the ball as he is going down to the ground.
eh, you can't really get them that much faster. any sophisticated sprint coach will tell you ... the envelope is the envelope. explosiveness and flexibility and form and all that shit can be worked on, plyos help but all that shit only works on the margin.
IOW, no matter what he did, Michael Irvin was never going to be faster than Deion Sanders. But he didn't have to be.
So this kid needs to just continue developing hands and learning how to be a big receiver. How to use his body, run routes, etc. Watch lots of tape of Harold Carmichael and Michael Irvin. Not Calvin Johnson, because he's actually fast.
I guess my point is that very few 18 year olds have completely maxed out their speed/quickness.
And when it comes to playing WR, it's even less about how fast you are as much as it is your quickness, route-running, and in particular, the ability to run routes without ever having to have a noticeable change in speed going into/out of cuts.

can he block?
does he have feces in his throat?
This kid is really big. We saw him this past summer. This would be a good pick up is UW can get him. Check out the footage
