I also thought 11-2 was certainly possible but I figured 10-3 was a reasonable expectation while 9-4 being bare minimum.
Oh, how we were all wrong about this season.
If I have to guess our record next season from where we stand now, I'm thinking 9-3 being a reasonable expectation while 8-4 bare minimum.
I just don't see us winning 10 regular season games till Peterman's 3rd year.
8 > 9 > 10 incremental improvement is certainly better positioned than 5 > 6 > 7 > 7 >8 but still short of the kind of improvement we expected from Siete to Peterman.
If Petersen doesn't win 10 games in 2016, and it certainly is possible the way team performed this season with Peterman and his staff, he's Todd Graham-lite and we'll need to find us another HC.
The 8-5 record this season is a cause for concern. The season was a disappointment.
The season was a disappointment by any measure, but I still feel we're in good hands for two reasons. 1. The player development we saw from Danny Shelton to Budda Baker. 2. The team played hard and aggressively for a full 60 minutes the last three games. Like something had clicked.
Combined with Petersen's track record, I feel okay about things heading into the off season. Am I overly rationalizing? I don't think so. Maybe it's a survival mechanism. <----
Love the comment: "The fuck is "understandable" about losing in Tucson? If we don't blow Vanilla Vick and co. utterly off the field, I will be there to personally punt Pete in the discipline hole."
I thought 10 wins. Quickly changed expectations when I saw the shit show that was our offense. Our defense was a better offense than our offense.
Terrible QB, bad WR corps, Below average running backs, shitty O line.... Just complete dreck and a lack of talent.
The number of wins went out the door and I just wanted to see the team improve over the course of the season and not stay the same or regress like under Sark.
Saw improvement at almost every position and hopefully that continues through spring ball and into next season. Not really sure how the drop off in defense will be in correlation to what should be a much improved offense with another year in Petermans system.
I still think year 3 will be the one when we will really know what we have.

the best comment was Chest saying, "if Miles is better than Price and if our safeties play great" that's a great disclaimer right there.

Puppy was pretty spot on and has all the screen shots he needs.
