    He could be mediocre for years, get paid a ton of money and anytime someone questions his performance just bring up the disastrous 0-12 seasonmagical no hitter of 2012 and the doogsmoogs will want to put up a statue of him in front of the stadium

    How did he light money on fire? The Mariners made him the highest paid pitcher two years before he hit free agency. Pitchers get hurt all the time, so securing your money was a good move by him.

    How did he light money on fire? The Mariners made him the highest paid pitcher two years before he hit free agency. Pitchers get hurt all the time, so securing your money was a good move by him.

    Had he been patient, he would have gotten more from the Yankees.
