Back in the good days, teams who lost most recently took their spot in the back of the line. That still applies to the pac12 bot not the SEC. They just drop a spot or two, while a very good 1-loss Ohio St. Team, who lost at the beginning of the year, cant get a shot at the bracket. You lose, you drop below teams who lost earlier.
