My picks for National Championship

If you hate money and you're in Vegas this month, bet one of these 4 teams to win it all.

South Carolina 30/1 - I'm not sold on UGA coming out of the East again, and even if the Cocks lose between the hedges in Week 2 they can still win that division. I like to say they're playing "between the hedges". I like to say that. .. They get Florida at home after a bye week in late November that could be for a trip to the SEC title game. Win the SEC title game, and they might as well crown your ass. Plus I like saying Go Cocks.

Oklahoma 50/1 - . Only 4 returning starters on D but who gives a fuck it's the Big 12. QB Blake Bell could be pretty good. Most Sooners fans would take 10-2 this year as its considered a "rebuilding year" but does anyone in the Big 12 really scare you? After a big win in South Bend (that's where Notre Dame is, right?) the Sooners will be 4-0 and this bet might not look so bad.

Texas A&M 12/1 - My pick to win the SEC West and face off against My Cocks in the SEC Title game.

Boise State 150/1 - Good value here. After they get by the Huskies in the opener I'm not so sure I don't see why they can't go undefeated in whatever stupid conference they play in. Sure, they've fucked it up before but do you really like money THAT much? Probably still left out of the natty even if they DO go 13-0. Again, who gives a shit it's just money.

So let me get this straight you have an SEC title game that doesn't have Alabama, Florida or LSU?!!
  • It's either Bama or A&M in the West. LSU is just not winning that division. No way. ..So I think its a toss-up between Bama and A&M. The game is in College Station, and I'll take the Aggies at 12/1 to win the whole thing over Bama at 3/1 every time...... Florida, IIRC, doesn't have an offense and lost to fucking Louisville in their bowel game.

A woman I know just went to Vegas last week and I gave her some money and asked her to bet on UCLA to win the conference. I told her the odds would be somewhere around 20-1.

She came back and said she found a casino where the odds were 50-1. I was stunned and wondering how that could be. Of course, when she handed me the ticket last night, she had bet on UCLA winning the national championship.

I had to explain how that wasn't quite the same thing,

I keep seeing UCLA picked to win the south and I don't agree with that. I like Mora and think he'll coach in a Rose Bowl game in either his 3rd or 4th year but UCLA does have a TUFF schedule.

They play at Nebraska early which could hurt momentum. Their opener even against Nevada is no gimme either as they have defeated some Pac-12 teams in the past.

Then in conference play they play at Utah, vs Cal, at stanford and at Oregon in three of their first four conference games. They also play at Arizona and at USC.

They skip the Cougs this year which is usually an easy win for anyone but our fucktarded staff.

If Mora wins another 9 games this year he should be considered national coach of the year with that schedule.

aTm is an intriguing choice. They probably won't get through the season unscathed, but because they play in the SEC, they automatically get favored in poles and by the corrupt media.

Alabama has more talent this year than last year, and they have a bye week before Texas A&M. I'm sensing an Oregon/UW type plunger raping.

I really like money, so I'll take Bama

In addition, UCLA has one of the weakest home-field advantages in the conference. They lost to OSU, lost to Stanford by 18 and only beat Utah by 7.

Their offense put up 34ppg but loses Fauria (12 rec TDs) and Franklin (13 TDs). Those are big losses and the offense at the least should be slightly worse. Last season their defense was 8th in conference in total D and scoring D. Its against the high priests here but I think theres a good chance the Mora bubble comes back to reality this season. His defense will need to be a lot better if they are going to challenge for the South.

Agree I think UCLA takes a slight step back then has a big year in 2014 with a junior Hundley. Plus that would be Mora's 3rd year so his recruits would start cycling in which means added toughness, good OL play, etc. The tough road games would then be at home while the road schedule would be more manageable in 2014.
