Losses in last 5 years- Looking at halftime scores

I was sitting at halftime of ASU this year, wondering how it was possible to be losing a big game again at halftime. It seemed to me like in most of our games against high profile teams- we aren't even really in the games at all. I couldn't recall a highly ranked Oregon/Stanford/UCLA, etc coming back late to pull one out on us.

I went through the games we have lost in the last 5 years. The rankings are the final AP top 25 ranking. For 2014- it is the current AP top 25 rank.
Obviously this doesn't show games where we held a halftime lead and beat a decent team. But i think as Husky fans we all know that UW has lost pretty much every big game in the last 5 years anyways. Meaning looking at wins against shitty teams wouldn't have told us much. I just wanted to understand how we are holding up in big games.

It is pretty incredible. We have lost 26 games in the last 5 years. We have only had a halftime lead in 2 of those 26 games. One of those that we did have the lead was the first game, back in 2010, and the other was the Alamo Bowl. Removing the bowl losses, then we have lost 23 regular season games since September 18, 2010. We have been losing at the half of every single one of those 23 games.

In home games- opportunities for us to jump on better teams using the home field advantage- we have lost 9 games in the last 5 years. We have not led at halftime in any of those games.

Fuck beating a team for 4 quarters- we haven't even been competitive at the half.
