7:30pm is actually the more attractive time to ESPN. They want to showcase a better matchup. Cal/Stan I think is a better game, because of the contrasting styles, but the stands will be half empty. Fans don't attend Stanford games for the big ones, let alone a game between 2 .500 teams. I know it's their version of the Apple Cup, but their fans DGAF. The UW/OSU game will have more fan *sizzle* and the 40k that attend will be about 5k more than you'll see at Stanford.North.
