As a biased observer, I'd like to point out the difference between the apathetic, half-way clever responses on the Bruin board to the replies of "Your BAND, you Dumbass bRuin! (rolling smiley face)" which a similar threads have attracted on the Troogan board.

I didn't think it generated the reaction that the real 5 reasons would have because more would have taken the bait rather than just a few who did with this much more obvious whoosh. But hey, I might be wrong and maybe 5 reasons has run its course and you'd rather have this instead. Either way, it's interesting, or not.

I got a good laugh out of the thread but still would have preferred the original 5 reasons. UCLA fans don't really have a good bored though with enough people to really get it going to taking a week off really isn't that bad.
